Did You Cheat Because I Never Went Down On You is a collection of poetry written by Thania May. I designed the book cover and the interior layout. We wanted the cover design to stand out and catch the attention of readers when shopping in store or online. The client didn’t want anything on the cover to distract from the bluntness of the book title. The client also wanted the cover design to be mostly black and white, with a small pop of color. We decided on red for the pop of color to signify courage, passion, sexuality, strength, and boldness, all of which describe the overall theme of the book.
